Bias against research from low-income countries

Two studies provide “strong evidence” there’s bias against research from low-income countries, a former editor of The BMJ writes:

Those reviewing grant proposals and manuscripts from low income countries should be aware of the bias and do all they can to avoid it–perhaps through blind reviewing or by using more reviewers from low income countries (although it is, of course, possible that they have the same bias against research from low income countries)
